The Bowers Home
"In 1988, my husband Bob and I needed to do a large amount of interior remodeling before we moved into our new home. We had seen an advertisement in the newspaper for RKS Construction. After talking to Ron, inquiring about his experience and checking some references he provided, we hired him for the first of numerous major projects. We have continued to use RKS Construction for four reasons:
- Ron and his workers do excellent work with quality materials at all times.
- With his experience, Ron always has ideas to offer when planning a project and is willing to modify and add to plans as the project develops.
- Ron is always pleasant to work with. We never felt rushed or
pushed into a decision.
- Ron and anyone working for him can be trusted.
Due to the positive experiences we have had with RKS Construction, we have recommended Ron to numerous friends."

"As I have told friends and potential customers many times, you can find a better price, but you won’t find a better quality of workmanship than that of RKS. RKS has consistently met our expectations and even has exceeded them. RKS is flexible and creative with regard to revisions and suggestions. High quality materials are always matched to high quality workmanship. I appreciate the advantages to me as a customer in using the best materials available. Detailed costing of specific initial plans is always provided prior to the beginning of work. RKS always shows great patience with the customer and is willing to explore and re-explore all ideas in a professional and friendly manner. Honesty and integrity are never in question with RKS."

Addition with Vaulted Ceiling and Brick Exterior
"Attention to detail ensures a quality finish, and that attentiveness began with design. In the design phase, Ron made sound recommendations and material choices. He even lead us to re-think some of our original concepts without being insistent. His employees are professional and industrious and were never intrusive. The subcontractors are equally first-rate and attentive to detail. For our project, Ron ensured us that he would maintain the design elements of our house; as a result, the addition looks as though it had been part of the original structure. Ron chose the best, most durable products during construction. Those who work with Ron often comment about his insistence on first-rate work. I have heard that same comment from faculty in Construction here at Penn College who know him.
Ron is always accessible and responsive. We reviewed and tweaked blueprints throughout the process. Given the need to remove an exterior wall and the impact on the inside of the house, he did an outstanding job on limiting the dirt and messiness. He and his crew always cleaned up after themselves.
I have no question about Ron’s trustworthiness. Most important to us, while the project required a tad more time than projected, it was completed in a timely manner. Would we recommend Ron? Absolutely. I might add that we chose RKS based on what we saw of his work in the residences of three families/friends for whom he had designed and constructed additions."

"We have employed RKS Construction on two occasions. The first was a restoration project on our home in Barbours following the 1996 flood. Damage was extensive in that we had four feet of water in the first floor. Ron and his crew worked wonders putting our home back together. When we decided to extensively renovate our current home in Butternut Grove, we knew that we would be “living” with the contractor for the summer. Ron and his crew delivered a high craftsmanship job at a reasonable price and with great consideration of their “roommates.” Should we require any future work on our home, RKS will get the call. My wife and I can recommend Mr. Sauers without reservation.
